Stash cat-astrophe
Normally my stash looks about like this.
It’s an inelegant stash, but it’s my inelegant stash.
The other morning I wandered into the studio with my mug o’ coffee, only to witness this scene.
Not even the large mug of coffee could counteract the early morning shock at the pillage and devastation.
J’accuse!
Yes, it was these girls. Oh sure, they look all sweet and innocent now.
Mimi and Maddie are older than our usual fosters, at an age we call “kitteens.” They were staying at our house to get over kitty colds that they just couldn’t kick at the shelter. They improved a whole lot in just a week and a half, and have gone back to the shelter for adoption. They’re total love-machine sweethearts.
Now to pick up the stash. More coffee.
Until next time,
Kay

Too funny! Those culprits must have been busy :-)
That is so funny, lol. I know that feeling, mine do it in the basement where I have areas for stash and painting. I go down and find things all over the floor so I know what they were up to. I keep my sewing room closed up, I make enough of a mess on my own, I don’t need kitty help;)

Well, try to enjoy touching your fabric. I’m not sure how else to put a positive spin on this, except it is pretty funny.
LOL! I love it! All you can do is stare at them with a thousand scolding remarks going through your head because your exasperation wars with how innocent and adorable they’re being. I know this feeling so well with my boys. I swear, their cuteness is a natural survival trait – it keeps them alive and allows them to get away with ANYTHING! Lol
They look like my cat, Moxie. Don’t they look innocent when asleep! Sorry about the mess they made, but you have to love them.
I’ll bet that avalanche scared them silly!!
They were trying to make themselves a quilt and disagreed on the fabric to use. I’ve had “quilting cats” and I know how that works.
