Here’s one of Wikipedia’s several definitions of the word ‘swag.’
That makes them swag bags!
I was so heartened to see how many people are already in the reusable bag habit. Here in Santa Cruz, plastic bags were recently outlawed and we pay 10 cents for a paper bag. I’ve vowed to get in the habit of having my bags with me… not to avoid paying the 10 cents but to support the cause. One time, after a trip, the bags never got back into the car. So I grabbed a cardboard box lid from the stocking cart and said to the clerk, “I’ll do it like Costco!”
